This is one of the best road races in the East Coast. Located in Cambridge, NY, this race takes athletes through the hills of upstate New York and over many kilometers of dirt roads. We're proud to be a part of such a great race.

Fitchburg-Longsjo Classic
The Fitchburg Longsjo Classic is in its 50th year in New England, Lance, Floyd, McCormack and others have all won this race. In 2008, Jon Chodroff used this race to prepare for his US National Championship TT win by winning the Fitchburg TT. Jon rented a Zipp Sub9 and a 1080 front wheelset.
Echappe will be back to the 2009 Fitchburg classic for its 50th year.

In 2008, Echappe Sponsored the 7th annual NYC Triathlon. While we are not sponsoring the event again, we are working on getting a local sponsor shop to help you get your wheels for the race. Reservations are already coming in, so please make a resevation now if you are planning on using our serice.

David and Gabe met through the Columbia Cycling Team, so it seemed only appropriate to give back a little. Discounts on race rentals and more One Day Rental dates are the perks the CU team can enjoy with Echappe. We also host a skills session and an "About Cycling Equipment" session for all current riders.

how to become sponsored
Echappe Equipment would love to help everyone out, but its a two way street. Favors don't pay the rent.
Individuals: You must be racing at the top level of the sport already. We will work with your sponsors to make sure you are not conflicting with your obligations with them.
Teams: Echappe is like having a complete arsenal of wheels at your fingertips. You are not committed to any one wheelset or brand, just to having the Echappe name on your equipment in all races. This is not a free sponsorship, but a drastically reduced rental option for teams. We are not an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), but essentially a bike shop. We purchase equipment and we need to pay it off. Please consider this when applying for a sponsorship.
