The Rev-50s are high-performance carbon tubulars with the optimum balance of wind-slicing aerodynamics, power-transferring rigidity, and responsive acceleration. They’re equally adept at road racing, crits, and time trials. Easily maneuverable in crosswinds, the Rev-50s provide reliable stopping power, brake-modulation, and durability, thanks to their basalt-coated braking surface.

Echappe Opinion: Great wheels for a great value. The 50mm section makes this a great climbing wheel but also a great wheel for criteriums. They spin up well and are still enough for hard accelerations.

The braking surface actually works. The basalt coating allows you to scrub speed with the proper Swiss Stop brake pads in wet or dry. The modulation capability is great- very similar feel to an alloy braking surface. Raced at Tour of the Battenkill in the wet, our customers were confident with their ability to brake and control the bike with these wheels.
